Revolution brand-medicine content
Q: Is the revolution that you sell for the 16# dog the one that covers fleas, heartworms, etc...? or is this just hearworms thank you in advance for your assistance.
A: There is only one revolution. the products we carry are the same exact products that are offered for sale by your veterinarian.
Shop for: revolution

Bee sting
Q: My 20 pound, 1 year-old dog was stung on the foot by a bee; shortly afterwards, he had diarrhea and vomiting, but seems to be himself. his foot doesn't seem swolen, he hasn't developed any rashes, and is not experiencing any trouble breathing. i may give him benadryl as a precaution. do you think he'll pull through?
A: I think benadryl is fine at dose of one children's 12.5 mg tablet up to twice daily as needed

Bathing
Q: I have a litter of puppies and they have fleas. how soon can i give them a bath? and how soon can i start feeding them? and is it ok to touch them now?
A: On our website, click on dogs, then ask the vet, and under that click on education. type in the word"puppies" and select "dog" under that. then look for the article "raising puppies".

Heat
Q: I have a 14 mth old female siamese cat..she still has not gone into heat. is this normal and how long could it take before she does..could there be something wrong..
A: Tough to say. some cats have mild silent heats which you might not detect. cats do not bleed or swell up like dogs. their heats are more behavioral and can in some cases go undetectec by owner

Infection
Q: Hi , i wanted to ask for some help if you could please , i have a 5 year old american eskimo (dog ), male 25 pounds he got in to fight with another dog and suffer a bite to the ear and i beleive it may be infected and i would like to try to treat it myself do too the lack of fueds , so could really use any help you have to offer please thank you jay spisak
A: You can pick up some polysporin or bacitracin ointment at your local pharmacy. apply this 3 times a day. if there is no improvement after 48 hours, or if the ear is getting worse, i would bring your pet to a veterinarian.

Frontline plus allergy - dog
Q: I have a 1 year old white german shepherd dog. i have been applying frontline plus since she was old enough to use it. in the last 3 months, every time i apply it, she paces and acts crazy for almost 2 days. she moves from room to room as if something is chasing her, tries to hide under our legs for protection, and when she lies down she can't stay still for more than 30 seconds. i'm worried that she's senstive to the frontline plus - especially the neurotoxicity. she loves the water and i want to know if i should be worried. are other waterproof options? thank you, ~becky
A: Some pets can indeed develop hypersenstiivities to any of the topical flea/tick products with continual use over time even though nothing seen originally. i would try other alternative such as oral program if fleas an issue and natural tick prevention such as cloud 9 by company called halo.
Shop for: tick, frontline plus, frontline

A: There is a medication called grass saver tablets that can be used for this problem.
